With Liquidline since 2003, Angus moved into Operations in 2023, bringing 20 years of company knowledge.
He focuses on operational excellence, overseeing Engineering, Logistics, and Warehouse functions, and fostering communication across departments. His leadership ensures punctual installations, quick issue resolution, and consistently high customer satisfaction.

Our Finance division, headed by Finance Director Karen Morphew, is split into four specialist areas:
Financial Planning – Overseeing performance reporting, budget creation, forecasting, statutory obligations (VAT/Corporation Tax), and financial audits.
Transitional Finance – Managing accounts receivable and payable, employee expense claims, and company credit card processes.
Credit Management – Setting and monitoring credit limits, managing payment terms, and handling overdue customer invoices.
CARE – Coordinating equipment, contracts, and invoice setups post-installation, resolving invoice disputes, and managing account or contract amendments across the group.
Financial Director
Karen Morphew
Karen joined Liquidline in January 2023 as our Financial Controller before progressing to lead the finance function.
A CIMA-qualified professional with nearly three decades of experience, Karen has worked in senior finance roles for several large corporate organisations, often heading finance departments and overseeing strategic financial operations.
Her responsibilities span the full finance scope, from budgeting and forecasting to reporting and external audits, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a forward-looking approach to planning.
Since joining, Karen has streamlined processes, improved governance, and introduced growth-focused strategies. She is passionate about mentoring junior team members, guiding them through professional qualifications, and creating a culture of continuous development.
Karen fully embodies our company values and is dedicated to driving the finance department forward for the benefit of our customers, suppliers, stakeholders, and employees.
Credit Management
Ensuring customer payment terms are upheld, queries are resolved quickly, and any issues regarding invoices are addressed efficiently.
Financial Transactions
Accurately recording supplier and customer transactions, processing supplier payments, managing customer direct debits, applying receipts, reconciling accounts, reissuing invoices when required, and handling employee expenses.
Financial Reporting
Producing monthly management accounts, conducting financial analysis to support decision-making, managing internal controls, and overseeing external audits and statutory reporting.

Our in-house IT team maintains our systems and networks while providing hands-on assistance through our internal service desk. They install, repair, and configure hardware and software to meet business needs, while diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently.
The department also includes our talented Web Developers, who create and refine digital tools that improve employee workflows and meet business objectives. They consistently deliver projects on time and ensure all systems perform optimally.
IT Director
Matthew Pooley
Matt ensures our IT infrastructure aligns with business goals and reflects Liquidline’s values of innovation and smart working. He has a passion for building systems that make life easier for both our teams and customers.
Matt manages two key areas: the IT support team, who handle daily hardware and software demands, and our web/software developers, who create tools such as our internal quoting system, company websites, and the My Account Portal. The Portal has been a major focus for Matt, evolving through multiple development stages to enhance the customer experience.

Emma is Head of Procurement at Liquidline, leading the evolution of the function from tactical purchasing into a strategic, commercially driven department. With a background spanning manufacturing, supply chain governance and supplier-led organisations, Emma brings a highly structured, process-focused approach to procurement.
Emma’s background includes working with brands across both direct and indirect procurement, covering supplier performance management, logistics and planning, warehousing, stock optimisation and commercial risk mitigation.
Since joining Liquidline, Emma has focused on strengthening supplier relationships, introducing robust performance measurement and positioning procurement as a trusted commercial partner across the business. She is passionate about continuous improvement, building and refining procurement ways of working, and overall aiming for greater clarity and structure to help support the wider business.
