We may be required to share your Personal Data with third parties to adequately provide our services. Please be assured that we will not share your information for any other reason unless we are required by law or permitted to do so under this Privacy Policy.

We may also share your information with third parties in the following ways:
• we may use carefully selected sub-processors to help us collect, store or manage your information. These are companies that facilitate and deliver your purchases to you, such as payment service providers, warehouses, order packers, and delivery companies;
• professional service providers, such as marketing agencies, advertising partners, analytics companies and website hosts, who help us run our business or assist us in the improvement and optimisation of the website;
• credit reference agencies, law enforcement, leasing companies and fraud prevention agencies, so we can help tackle fraud;
• we will transfer your Personal Data to a third party if:
o we sell or buy any business or assets, we will provide your Personal Data to the seller or buyer (but only to the extent we need to, and always in accordance with data protection laws); or
o if Liquidline or the majority of its assets are acquired by somebody else, in which case the Personal Data held by us will be transferred to the buyer; and
• we may have to share your personal information to comply with any applicable law.

Storing your Personal Data
The data that we collect from you will be stored in a location within the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or any other country where we’ve ensured there are appropriate data transfer mechanisms in place.

All information that you provide to us is stored on our secure servers or those of our third party sub-contractors. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. You must not share your password with anyone.

Data Retention
We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other requirements.

In some circumstances you can ask us to delete your data, as outlined in the ‘Your Rights’ section below.

In some circumstances we will anonymise your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

Legal Ground for Processing
We will only process your Personal Data for as long as we have a legal basis to do so. This is usually due to the ‘contractual necessity’ to provide you with the products or services that you have purchased from Liquidline. We may also use ‘consent’ for marketing communications and we use ‘legitimate interests’ for marketing communications to existing customers.

We do not generally process sensitive categories of Personal Data. However, if we have collected sensitive Personal Data as part of our service provision, we will always ensure that we either request explicit consent from you or document the appropriate exemption to allow the processing of this data.

We may only use your Personal Data for the reasons we initially collected it, unless we think we need to use it for another valid reason that’s related to the original purpose. If we believe this new reason isn’t compatible with the original purpose, we’ll either assess the privacy impact or ask for your consent to continue processing. If you want to know how the processing for the new reason fits with the original one, please contact us for an explanation.
