Expert Pressure System Checks
If your machine uses steam pressure, a regular PSSR inspection is essential. Our team carries out a full review of the vessel, valves and internal components to ensure safety and performance.
Liquidline Ireland provides PSSR checks for both our own systems and third-party machines, giving you a complete service and an official IOSH certificate for your records.
Why Book a PSSR Inspection?
PSSR inspections aren’t just a legal requirement, they’re key to workplace safety. Steam pressure systems, if unchecked, can pose serious risks. Regular inspections reduce the chance of failure and help you stay compliant with safety laws. Without them, you could risk invalidating your business insurance.

One of our certified engineers will dismantle and inspect the steam boiler system, including safety valves and the vessel itself. The boiler is fully drained, examined for wear or corrosion, and reassembled before being pressure tested. You’ll receive full documentation and, if needed, internal images of the boiler.
Once your machine is 14 months old, an initial inspection is required. After that, we recommend annual checks, although this may vary depending on usage and machine type.
Only machines that operate using pressurised steam, such as bean to cup and espresso machines, require PSSR inspections. Filter machines generally don’t fall under this regulation, though regular servicing is still recommended.
